Wow.... everyone is so frugal.
Not gonna say what my DH and I spend every week on groceries.... but it's a good bit. No idea how it comes up to as much as it does though.. *shrugs*

My mom isn't cheap, she's just not wasteful.
She washes our ziplock bags and reuses them multiple times.
She also washes out the containers meats come in from the store. Sometimes the plastic ones, sometimes those foam ones.

My husband and I reuse water bottles and plastic silverware. We also keep all of the plastic tupperware containers we get from the chinese places we go to when we get soup heh.

WTH is wrong with that dog's mouth? Not the tongue... but it's nose area. Why does it tilt up like that whenever the dog closes it's mouth? Very weird.

Some of those dogs weren't even ugly though. Guess people think just b/c it's wrinkled or hairless, it's ugly.

That's pretty damn unbelievable that something like this is happening. As other people have said, very sickening.
I can't even imagine what was going through those peoples heads as they were having everything stripped away from them from people who are supposed to be protecting them.

I didn't have any expectations when I went. I actually really didn't want to go to begin with.
It awed me for about an hour, and after that, I just wanted to leave. We did break away from the tourist-y areas but that didn't help much either b/c it still all looked exactly the same as everything else.

I thought Verona was a much better area to visit. Hated the fake Romeo & Juliet spots my DH insisted that we see though.
Trieste(sp?) was the best place we went to in Italy. Well, the castle there? Not sure what it's called. Very pretty w/ the giant garden that we got to walk through.
