Mr. Jones's Comments

Typical food police baloney.

Someone else here already said it: EVERYTHING IS BAD FOR YOU

What is the solution?

DON'T DO TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING - MODERATE

If you choose not to moderate, then deal with the consequences like an adult. Take responsibility and stop blaming everyone (and everything) else.

Is this really that hard to understand?

Alan Andrew:

I commend your open-mindness and inclusion of diverse ways of thought.

But placing Mohammed with the likes of Jesus Christ, Buddha, and Ghandi is a little off.

None of these other men were warlords. They never resorted to violence in order to spread their philosophy. Mohammed killed a great many people. There is no getting around this fact.

But you're 100% correct on your point of moral relativism - and how so-called "religious" people perverting the peaceful teachings of their founders.

Sigh...

We can go all day with one group of self-righteous hypocrits pointing fingers at another group of self-righteous hypocrits.

But I'll throw in anyway - we love tossing around this term "torture" without clearly defining exactly what it means.

If you bring any sort of discomfort whatsoever to a captive, then some panty-waist is going to whine "torture". Where do we draw the line? How far should we go to protect our citizens? Is it any way possible we can have a rational discussion about it without someone breaking down in tears or going on a rant about "western imperialism"?

I'm not sure how these pizza chains are able to differentiate the political identities of their customers.

If I were ordering a pizza, and they were to ask me what my political party is, I would ask them, nicely, what the fuck does my politics has to do with pizza.

This study is meaningless because it's isolated to one specific ethnic group. To put it very harshly, there is a group here that, at one point, was selected and bred. The selection was based, in part, of a heavier bodyweight to survive a brutal voyage across the ocean.

Maybe it's asking too much for parents to do their job and keep tabs on their kids without using satellites.

This is where it starts, folks. We're raising a generation of bagged-and-tagged children, who are being conditioned to be constantly monitored. Pretty soon it won't be a "big deal" to extend this monitoring to law-abiding adults.

Actually, the story I heard was that the dolphins stuck their heads out of the water, squeeked "You're gonna die", and swam away, laughing.

Seriously, the story is goofy enough without the whales. But having whales join in the rescue party sounds like some story a 8-year-old would make up. Why not have some flying unicorns thrown in as well?

Cathy:

Actually, the CFCs in aerosols (sp?) were supposedly ripping a hole in the ozone layer.

Remember the ozone? Remember how our use of CFCs was a global catastrophe, and we needed to take drastic action in order to save the world?

No, me neither.

The spraying water is "eco-friendly" because it cleans the ducks who swim below it. Duh.

But I question the wisdom of making a bridge a "tourist destination" in managing traffic flow. Or maybe this major city doesn't have traffic problems.

"The grave is now surrounded by a movie theater parking lot"

It's bad enough that her captain never showed up, but now she has to watch "Beverly Hills Chiuaua".

God hates us.

I'm walking to the something

I'm drinking too much bla bla,

Fall out
I'm feeling really bla bla, I want to bla bla bla,

And in the end it means I bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

The dating scene is certainly a minefield, but don't let the challenge discourage you. The more people you meet, the more you will learn to look for the good things and the bad things.

And accept the fact that it's impossible to find someone who is "perfect". In any relationship, you HAVE to put up with a certain amount of bullsh*t. You just have to know where to draw the line, and make that line impassable.

You can certainly date someone and keep them at arm's length until you're comfortable enough to incorporate them into your family life. Any woman worth your time will have the patience and understanding to go through this process.
