I wonder why people focus on the voltage without mentioning the available current. Voltage is only the potenial. The voltage and resistance determine the current, measured in amperes.

Ignoring safety concerns, this is still a really bad idea. Cars and planes have very different engineering requirements. You end up with a machine which is a bad car and a worse plane.
