Tim : pfft, she's learning valuable life lessons. Like "Don't talk back to Darth Vader". And no way she could start her education now, math just can't compare to Obi-Kenobi.

no you didn't miss anything. "It was created by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and Jesse Dylan (son of Bob), inspired by Barak Obama’s “Yes We Can” speech."

It simply says they were inspired by his speech, and that the video is wildly popular now. I don't know what you expected...

I for one really enjoyed it.

Shark : haha! I read that and thought how cool it'd be to make a Noah's Ark out of dead animal.

yeah... to me this just looks gross. I must not be a meat person.

Shark Jesus will rule the Zoo for thousands of years and purge all of our sins with his many and wonderful sharky teeth.

All praise Shark Jesus! He is the Shark messiah because only the messiah could have been born to a virgin.

If you max out the premium PCs (such as those from alienware or Falcon Northwest) you'll get around the same number. Falcon Northwest gets up to $23,562.06. And there's a Dell model that starts at $6,339 and maxes out at $21,991.

So apple isn't too far out there if you max it out. Also BrokenShift is right. The Mac Pro is a professional machine. I would bet that the $27K machine is even a little overpowered for pixar artists.

As a recent convert myself I'm very happy with the money I put in. I got a great computer, a great OS and I feel like this will last me a good bit longer than a comparable Dell.

Been done before, although this guy has a nicer bit of software. Check out http://kotaku.com/search/Johnny%20Lee/ for a series of posts about Johnny Lee. He did this, and even made an absolutely amazing pseudo-virtual-reality setup with his Wii an a big TV.

@ Chris and Alex

A lot of Bacteria use their flagellum to move, and it is a whip. but the base of it functions as a simple wheel, or at least a rotating system with an axle.

I'm an Atheist as well, and I'm not bothered by Christmas in the least. I rather enjoy it. And I'm always confused by people who declare that there's a war on Christmas because Christmas as we know it has...well, nothing to do with the Christian holiday.

Unless Santa really did tell Mrs. Frosty she was going to have a baby reindeer named Rudolph under a pine tree. And Geoffery the Giraffe, Mario and Master Chief came to visit little Rudolph, guided by his bright nose.
