Since moving to Europe and traveling a bit, I've found it fascinating to see the relationship between the different languages. I'm not a linguist; I'm sure they find it even more interesting.
I guess you've got to believe that those dog owners know their dogs well enough to let them that close to their child but it was a bit freaky from this perspective. Not ever having had house pets- we were on a farm and ours were strictly outdoor animals- this was never an issue in our house but it is certainly something you'd have to consider and do carefully. Kind of glad it's not my responsibility!

Never thought to try to depict my migraines as a picture but those pix do a good job. I've had them since my teens and am still sort of hopefully waiting for the day when they just won't happen anymore....
So then if that were to work ok, would it work to import some functional microbes to the contaminated areas? Historically, importing living organisms to a non-native area hasn't had good long-term success but I wonder how it would work in this sort of situation. And why it's not being tried...

I've been trying to imagine that snake after a meal like that. Burp indeed. Would this make the snake vulnerable to predators? Are there predators that would prey on that snake? I mean- how do you slither after downing a whole crocodile??? And how on earth does that crocodile not tear your insides to bits- the claws as they migrate down the digestive tract, for instance. Maybe I need to go take a course on snakes and crocodiles!
