Mossel, you were so busy acting smugly superior, you missed the best part.

I'm not American. I'm educated. I thought it was enjoyable - albeit a fashion disaster.

The only thing was the falsetto guy started creeping me out with his voice. He must use safety pins - you figure it out.

Those who find it disappointing or "pathetic and boring" are lacking in imagination.

It's not magical: it's a symbol, and a tourist trap. It's not Niagara Falls. It's a rock. But maybe you could look at it through less cynical eyes, and not as an excuse to flaunt your hate-filled political beliefs and agendas.

The Mayflower replica (right beside the rock) is a strange and curious disappointment because it's so small. You have to wonder how they traveled in such a confined space.

And Jamestown is cool, too.

Say, weren't we saying the exact same thing about computers and the Internet?

Of course it's ridicule. Just like poking fun at the fashions from the 60's.

We're humans: we like to feel smugly superior to whatever we can.

Looks like Star Wars meets the Wizard of Oz.
There should be a pair of stripey legs sticking out from under the trailer, and Dorothy stepping out the doorway.

The hands one was cute, but the song was dull.

The "Groovy Girl" stripper audition tape was pathetic and kinda sad. But at least she was high.

This one has no excuse. Excruciatingly glee club pathetic.

Judges are people, too. He's probably seen enough frivolous cases during his time on the bench that he figured he may as well do the same thing. Perhaps he was proving a point. He probably wanted to see how well he could do.

It is a free country...

meg, odds are we don't even live in the same country.

The liberal approach to parenting is exactly the problem here. The parents have completely abandoned their duty for flower-child wishy-washiness.

You don't think I know about understanding? You don't think I have compassion? You don't know me. It's one thing for parents to support the decision of a teenager or adult child who has made the decision to castrate himself and call himself a woman. It's quite another for parents to mess this kid up even further while still in his formative years.

Thanks for sticking to the point of the discussion, and not making it personal, by the way. Oh wait, you didn't add anything to the conversation but a personal attack. Classy, meg.

Oops, I screwed up about the W sound. I meant to say the V and J sound.

I seem to recall the ancient Greeks had a letter for the W sound, but then stopped using it.

iacta alea est - the die is cast.
alea feles est - the die is cats.

Did you know there was a Latin Wikipaedia: Vicipaedia.
