Ted's Comments

He's just trying to make good story out of it in order to attract higher bids for his useless crap - sorry, memorabilia.

Sad that we assume he's "trading obsessions" simply because he got religion. Perhaps his religion helped him to realize his unhealthy, costly obsession with Dr Who, and he decided to give it up. It doesn't necessarily mean he's filling up his house with Mary statues and tiny bottles of holy water.

It is a material world, and we all obsess over something. Harry Potter is kinda yesterday - maybe you should give Dr Who a try, Brit.

You didn't ruin my day, silly. It's just a little strange how some atheists are as fixated as bible-thumpers. It just sounds like you're trolling when you go way off-topic like that for no reason.

The picture actually reminds me of the stereotypical little old lady with an IV strapped to her arm, standing outside the hospital, puffing away on a cigarette. Now you know why Darth's breath sounds so laboured.

So he does this wonderful deed and then tells everybody about it, to the point that it gets in the news?

Here's a different spin: drugged-out teenager tries to mug big social worker. Social worker instead talks the teen into going for dinner, with the hopes of getting a little more money. During dinner, social worker steers the conversation over to how the teen can earn some extra cash if he just goes back to the social worker's house to pose for a few photographs. Teen agrees, goes back to social worker's place, social worker puts on a little Barry White. Afterwards, teen gets nervous, threatens to blackmail social worker. Social worker kicks him out, panics, makes up a story to head off any suspicion.

How's that for heartwarming?

At least some of his made a little sense. Does this mean baseball players are like whiny gumbies without steroids?

And what's with the "swish"? Sounds a little like gay-bashing. Piraro is still going downhill.

I would call this bogus or just some crazy person's wishful thinking invention. The site did note they are currently seeking investors.

What's wrong with using the word "quantum"? I'm tired of physicists and mathematicians hogging a perfectly useful latin word. The dictionary definition: "how much there is of something that you can measure".

I think the dog would have followed him out through the doorway, but he didn't give her a chance.

That's not a dumb dog. That's a well-trained dog. Even with the glass out, she waited until she was allowed out the door.

Oh, geez, you had to go and ruin a perfectly entertaining story by waving your atheistic fixation around.

Yay! You're an atheist. You go, girlfriend!

Wow.
You draw elephants for a living?

This animal is obviously well-trained to do that. He/she was following verbal cues from his handler while drawing the picture. Most elephant paintings are abstract.

Was kinda lame.
If you read any of them, you'd see the guy's a Christian who's talking about aspects of his faith - just a load of small sermons.

I guess if you even knew what The Message was, you'd get the joke - it's more of an insider site.

Cute, but flawed.

For one thing, accountants and other "business people" aren't generally handed their jobs on a silver platter - they do compete.

It's not the fault of big business in the USA that some people in Mexico aren't educated to an extent where they can be more than illegal day-labourers.
