Ted's Comments
Sounds awful. Not because it's bad for you, but it must be gross.

Sandyra, you just don't want to get the point, do you? Was a jumpsuit the style for shows like that back then? They also had Betty Boop showing off her garterbelts in the 30's, and Scarlett O'Hara in a full-length gown, and Dorothy in a blue dress and ruby slippers. But none of those are the same style.
They also had burkas back then, but I'm sure you'd find something wrong with that...

Yeah, I figured it's a perfectly legitimate name, but really?

His parents named him Jerk?

Yeah, why have we never heard of the dinosaurs before?
And what's with the Stud Show being advertised on the right? What kinda school is this?

I think it's a great idea. If a teacher doesn't have enough common senseto know this is a good idea, then it should be enforced. It's excellent protection for kids against teachers who are sexual predators.
When I train new employees, I don't accept any friend requests until after training is finished. It's not appropriate between adults in those circumstances, and it's certainly not appropriate between teachers and students.

The Arab world is sinking just like the rest of us, thanks to cockamamie schemes like this. This will probably be the world's tallest emptiest building when it's done.

What I don't get about the latest one is they pee in a fountain and get switched. Who in their right mind pees in a fountain? There's like bushes all around the damn thing, and there's lights on the fountain, and these two guys decide "Let's pee in the water"?
I doubt that one should make it to a "best of" list, even if it were the only one in this category.

Why don't we just cut off their hands?

It's because some people are too scared to let go and face a world where you can actually talk normally.

Interesting idea, but seems a little icky.

I don't agree with Bert and Ernie getting married any more than I agree with Statler and Waldorf getting married, or Dumbledore supposedly being gay (funny, no mention of THAT in the recent movie).
The world of Sesame Street is a world of kids, and not of pre-teens, teens, or adults. As such, it should not have adult issues or adult scenarios between its muppet characters.
However, the human characters on the show could have a gay couple, and I doubt it would traumatize the audience. They needn't be Butch and Lance, who run the leather bar up the street, just two people on the show. It doesn't sexualize the relationship just because they exist on the street.
I don't think they need any sort of more complex relationships than just friends on the show, between humans or muppets. That's like Kermit and Miss Piggy finally getting married, or Gilligan and the gang getting off the island.
And finally, they're MUPPETS, NOT PUPPETS!
