"We don’t post a lot of politics on Neatorama..." Sorry, I was so busy laughing over that one that I didn't have time to read the rest of the article.

This is almost as ridiculous as NYC's "Good Samaritan" stings where they planted wallets and purses in subway cars and arrested anyone who took them if they didn't turn them in before leaving the station.

From all the hype, I was expecting the "lies" to be more like news items or propaganda. This is just a TV trivia "pick the false" game.

On NYC buses, there are signs "asking" you to please not use your cell phone as a courtesy to others. Once, a bus driver refused to leave the stop until the old lady in front of me (who was talking quietly) got off her cell phone. So... I can talk to the person next to me, I can talk to myself, I can be one of the hundreds of crazies in the city who scream at themselves and others- but I MAY NOT talk to a piece of plastic next to my ear?

McDonalds: "Do well on this test, or you'll wind up working here."

And I agree with previous posters - the lack of funding of our country's public education system is a disgrace.

Sorry, but I want to play games for a little bit of escape, not to have advertising stuck in my face like it is 24/7 in the real world. Remember the once upon a time when gamers would have been outraged to pay $50 for a game and have it turn out to be adware? The foot in the door method of conditioning works, and the industry just keeps sucking and sucking.

Bill Clinton seemed to have based his presidency on Zaphod Beeblebrox from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - an ex-hippie whose job was not to actually wield power, but to draw attention away from what was really going on in the world with his antics.

Likewise, (although I like Obama) I would say that both Clinton's and Obama's campaigns are reminiscent of Fahrenheit 451 commentary about how candidates are sold to the public. One is celebrity material, the other is clearly not - who is the television-watching public going to pick?

I would say a president should read Atlas Shrugged, Slaughterhouse 5, and God Bless you Mister Rosewater - then let his brain work it out between the opposing perspectives.

That's the wonderful thing about the law: all you have to do is say that something is right or wrong, and it BECOMES right or wrong. Kind of like chanting "downloading music is stealing" over and over again.

Oh please, you guys said the same "we only post left-wing propaganda but don't say anything bad - it's funny!" shtick when you posted that Homer Simpson voting crap. It's your site, post what you want, but stop trying to pretend you're not biased.
