The whole point was to slow up the competition. It was a shame that the old guy I tripped got killed by some idiots behind me, but, hey, I saved $50 on that Xbox.

A friend was a movie producer half a decade ago. The goal back then, it appeared, was to present an idea to investors that would get them to pony up money. When there was not enough, the producer would attached a new star or director to get new investors while trying to keep the old ones in tow. When they had enough scratch, a movie would get made that would satisfy the cascaded commitments and hopefully not look like crap. Can you think of any other reason to have a meeting between Axel Foley and Spock?

In her most productive years, my mother would make a pair of mittens in an evening. A sweater would take a week. Covering one of our couches in needlepoint took her (and my brother) a whole month. Pity they chose such a putrid color of green.

I can totally see someone like her helping to make a gas station cozy.

The only reason that these are considered paradoxical is because nutritionists believe diet causes these diseases. Wouldn't it be more accurate to claim that this information refutes that belief?

I have everything needed to make this project so I bult one. The results: Most of construction process is pure bunk. The biggest flaw, however, is that the device does not float. In fact, the tea candles by themselves do not float as high as the one shown in the video, much less one that is burdened with metal tubing.

I am sorry to be so cynical, but since I have seen way too many prank videos by these people, I doubt it will work. My main concern is how the water in the tube gets replenished as it boils away.

Universal water treatment and sewage treatment are the greatest ecological issues of our day. They would provide more good for the environment, as well as humankind, than fixing global warming.
