After almost solving the puzzle, I got bored and used the walkthrough. It is interesting that its author did not find (or use) one of the clues within the game. Perhps that is the "final puzzle" to which she refers.
Just in case anyone from St. Tiggywinkles reads Neatorama, I have two possible diagnoses. If it is an autoimmune disorder similar to psoriasis, then there is nothing anyone can do. On the other hand, it could be a fungal infection akin to athlete's foot. A natural remedy would then be Tea Tree Oil, but modern athlete's foot treatments would be faster and less irritating.
I cannot comment on the collection in question, but having seen a similar car collection in person, I can say that they do exist and are unlikely to see the light of day until the third generation.
The game was fun, but there were too many programming glitches. Silent boxes. Boxes clearing without being paired with another one. That sort of thing.
