Well, I may be an 'exception' to the rule, but I'm kind of in this situation. Except, I DONT come from wealthy parents, and I AM looking for a job. I was laid off (from a job I loved), and lucky enough to get some severance package stuff.
That being said, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the extra free time. However, I am quite worried about getting another job, so perhaps this doesn't really apply? I certainly wouldn't call it "fun" to be constantly worried about my career's future. But sometimes you have to enjoy yourself a little bit to keep from being depressed when you get turned down or (more often) ignored when job applying.

Hey! I could get a job as a fake friend. I could be the 'goofy american' choice from the menu! :D

Computer-generated art isn't created by a computer (like an AI), its created by a human, with the computer as the medium. Its no more de-humanizing than typing on a computer vs handwriting.
The difference... someone doing computer art doesn't need to be talented enough to draw stuff or handle perspective ratio, can focus instead on composition, theme, etc. (Similarly, a writer using a computer don't have to worry about legible handwriting, spacing mistakes, etc.)

Super neat - I'm jealous too! Of course, I'm sure he's put a lot of work into getting that good, but he's bound to have a base of pure talent.
Well, either that or he grew up consuming nothing but Gummi Berry Juice.

It started out funny, but was depressing by the end. Esp the part with grandma. D: Still, I do love a good parody that used the old-timey wonder presentation. (Like Fallout :P )
As for Edward's comment, having a positivie attitude certainly is a great thing and to be commented. However, not all people who are unhappy 'chose to not be happy'. To claim that does a disservice to people who've had bad things happen to them, and/or difficult mental issues.

I find this incredibly creepy too. If I had kids, I'd be terrified and saddened that'd they'd "ship me off" to anywhere to get rid of me until I died, even if they place they sent me too was super-attentive and such. To a different country... well... that just worse. (Although I suppose it's not as bad if the country is where one is from).

is this shark-jumping? or is it a conclusion? I don't know about the creator(s), but if he/she/they are getting old, perhaps they want to end it and give a conclusion before they die?

I imagine this would only work of people who don't really think too much about how things actually work internally.

Where's the panic room that Jack Bauer and President Taylor used to hide from General Juma? :P

Seriously, the extremely wealthy acting like spoiled children and hoarding every possible bit of money through unfair means? NO! A historical first!
