Heh - we have a family of skunks that had a small litter this year. I filmed them put up the vids on youtube, and someone flagged the vids. I took them down. But seeing the family do their thing, looking for grubs, and the baby ones making their little squeak chirp noises...well just as cute as two little bunnies in paper cups.
"She noticed that the face almost looked as though the person was experiencing some form of pain or suffering." Well yeah. She had been stepping on them all that time. And of course they had no other choice than to look up her skirt. :(
On friday - Frau partially read an article while drinking vodka mixed with lemoncello. The end result was her posting that an image was incorrect. Matt accused her of "trying to get attention". Frau now swears that she will never enjoy too many cocktails on a Friday while perusing Neatorama on the iPad.
I know you can still buy candy cigs here in NM. they are just not labeled cigs. They should be labeled "nasty dried sticks of bone meal with a bit of sugar". Round Up is probably the funniest with the really butch cowboy....
@ Annoyed - It IS based on the graphic series of the same name.. The director Frank Darabont had asked Robrrt Kirkman about four years ago if he could get the rights to do the series. Originally it was to be developed under a deal he had with NBC. NBC had thought it would be good, but the graphic nature of it all, would not allow it in prime time. Darabont had "shopped" it around, and then AMC picked it up.
@LisaL- I will have to wait for it to go onto video, as I also do not have cable :(
@SeaMonkey - I did not say it was wrong. I said I felt that it was inappropriate. If you are building something that you feel you are sharing with people, it should be out of your own pocket.
Example: It is your birthday. I want to bake you a cake. But I don't have any flour or eggs. Can you loan me some money? This would be inappropriate.
This is all my opinion. I build things for our neighborhood, every year. Because I like to. Their gift in return is seeing the smiles or hearing about how much people enjoyed my "artwork", the next day. I do this on something called a "budget". I figure out ways to recycle materials from the previous years, or scour the salvage yards for materials. I set out a price limit that I cannot go over. If I find that I may go over budget, I change the idea or the materials. This should not require donations from others to fulfill. Again my opinion. I think it is tacky to ask for donations to build something that you are "gifting" to people.
while a neat idea -I do not think it appropriate to ask for outside money for your Halloween projects. I create my decorations out of my love for the holiday and seeing people jump or getting a scare. I would never ask for donations to support my "art" . if you are going to create some sort of awesome Halloween yard decos, you should save up your own money and plan accordingly.

Butbut I think cutting open a luck dragon would bring you bad luckzd
In case you did not get that....the image for the post is that of Atreyu and Falkor. Not Han Solo and a TonTon.
Round Up is probably the funniest with the really butch cowboy....
Those candy slides would be fun.
@Andy S
There are a few interviews out, with Robert Kirkman. He is reported to be very happy with the way it is turning out.
