My aunt's cat, Sadie, crawled into her oven after she pulled out the dinner and turned to put it on the counter. When she turned around and closed the oven door, she didn't see the black cat against the black interior of the oven. A couple of moments later when the Sadie realized what a stupid move she'd made and freaked out, my aunt rushed to pull her out and cool her down. Sadie ended up with minor burns on her paws and an aversion to the oven. (Damn cat lived over 20 years and died peacefully in her sleep)

I always thought that it is because as women age, their eggs start developing chromosomal defects at a faster rate. When you are under the age of 30, your chances of have a baby with Down Syndrome are 1 in 1,000, at 35 those chances are 1 in 400 and for every year after that, your chances get exponentially larger. I like both equally. The Gene Wilder one cannot be compared properly to the Johnny Depp one because they both channeled a different facet of Willy Wonka. Gene channeled the quirky, mischievous Wonka and Depp the quirky, slightly creepy, but no-less-endearing Wonka. I like how the newest adaptation kept to the heart of the story told in the book.

Mouserz--
Easy, he's two. My two-year-old would have his pants and diapers off in two seconds flat if we didn't watch him. Two-year-old boys defy the laws of gravity and common sense on a regular basis, taking off pants and diaper is nothing compared to what they're capable of.

I love it! When we were learning this stuff in my molecular genetics class the whole process seemed to go so slowly, at least it did in my head, because so many things are happening at once and you had to learn each step of the process in order, one component at a time. This video puts all that activity into real time and it is AWESOME! :-O <--Insert science geek squee here

Oh my God! How did my two-year-old break into their house! The dog is just about the only thing that my son has not tried to draw on. Luckily, his main medium is chalk (he gets it by crawling out the dog door and raiding the sidewalk chalk). All of our permanent markers are high up and out of reach (which is probably more of a dare to him than a means of keeping it out of his reach).

Not to mention that "American" vehicles are increasingly made in other countries while "foreign" vehicles are being made right here in America (Both Toyota and Hyundai make a fair number of their highest selling vehicles in American plants)

We lived in Flagstaff, AZ for a number of years and I discovered that the little towns located around 66 are fascinating. At one point, we ended up towing our moving trailer through Oatman, AZ on old 66. We were lucky to make it through with all our stuff after those steep grades and narrow roads.

When we read this yesterday, my mother and I agreed that it would have been really hard for us to not seek out the original owners family. We would have been extremely curious as to why the cash had been hidden there. Also, how much worth did the individual bills have considering how rare they were?

If you read the comments at the bottom of the series of pictures, you'll find out that the government has had to remove 16 zeros and will probably be removing more in the future.
