Between my home and work in south-central WI, four huge farms have been totally decimated, interstate highways have been closed, and many county roads have been washed out...and we're apparently far less affected than the Western part of the state.

The main place I've found starfish is tide pools. Not exactly current-filled.

But to me it looks like these starfish arent underwater at all, at least near the end.

There's also a nature reserve in AZ (I think) that's being split in half by this fence. It's a migratory home to two species of bird that only land there and a subspecies of coyote that only lives there. The birds might adapt but the coyotes aren't expected to. Sad, really.

Not a huge fan of Leno, but I've seen some of those ridiculous newspaper articles and that was pretty funny.

And yes, it was stupid to pick up a wild snake-like animal, but GB is not exactly Australia in terms of poisonous critters.
