I don't know about reflowering poinsettias, but I do know that they're the only plants that don't die instantly when I acquire them. I have one that's been around for about three years now.
Yes! I always smoke 5+ cigarettes at a 4-course meal! Just out of curiosity, having never touched a cigarette in my life, can you actually taste food after smoking? The smell of second-hand smoke alone makes my food taste funky, so I can't imagine eating while smoking.
Scratch that about the Mustard Museum move being a ways off; they're moving tomorrow! Operations should be up and running at their new middleton location within a week or two.
The Mustard Museum is moving! As soon as construction is complete (could be a bit, as last I heard an entire wall collapsed), it will be located in Middleton, WI, just outside of Madison.
So pretty much Mt. Horeb is out their only attraction (besides the Trollway, but really, who goes around and looks at troll gnomes).
I agree with angstrom! These are more like...asshats who can operate a computer. Except for the professor and possibly the critic...those guys KNOW they're trolls. And of course robots, but I'm not sure they actually have sentience.
Wow, this is way better than the whole just "get in there and do it" way that I had to learn.
Tony-That's a really interesting way to learn vet stuff! We only use our fistulated cows up here for learning about rumen anatomy and rumen contents and how to make sure that the cow is digesting properly.
Hehe, I always come across as grumpy even when I'm not, according to people who only know me cordially. I don't mind people thinking that, but I'd hate to be a massive downer at work or anything...luckily people at work know me better than to think that I'm ALWYAYS unhappy :P
Episodic depression may help people come up with answers and solve problems, but believe me, chronic depression doesn't help you at all. Even when you come up with answers you don't act on them, and most people with chronic depression are so pessimistic that they're too busy thinking of ways stuff could go wrong...myself included. It takes a lot of effort to think in a positive and productive manner and get things done.
My favorite literature-inspired song/album are Kamelot's albums Epica and The Black Halo, inspired by (ok, pretty much the exact story, just different words) the legend of Faust.
Of course, one has to be in the mood for metal/metal crossover to listen to the whole thing at once, but it makes for great driving music!
Sturdy is a matter of perception...I've put things together perfectly and they were amazingly sturdy, but make one wrong move during assembly and they fall apart like cardboard...
That's great! I'm glad the cheetah isn't going to be made a house-pet, either...I'll admit, Bolt didn't seem like the type to do anything that wasn't about him when he competed in the Olympics, but maybe he's not the egotistical person he came off as.
some vests/braces used by young severe scoliosis patients still look like that! They're just made of plastic and are not riveted together...still, they look very uncomfortable. My friend had to wear one for months before she could get surgery and always had nasty callouses where the brace dug into her skin :(

And florida has part of its western border NOT touching water on it's panhandle.

In terms of spontaneous crowdsourced humor, I'd have to go with the Tuscan Whole Milk and Uranium Ore comments.
