Alice 4's Comments
Not to be a spoil sport .. but .. I wonder how many of the commenters who think is wacky, crazy, loony, silly ... how many of those people also think that believing in the sky god of their choice makes perfect sense ...
I seek consistancy. Either it's all loony, silly, crazy, wacky .. or it's all valid .. one or the other folks :)

Cleek, not if he's a teenager himself. Given that he's a scout, he's probably still a teen.

Campfire Boys and Girls FTW. They are my charity of choice, and always recieve a large donation from me.
I had been a Girl Scout when I was little. When I discovered that I didn't believe in god, I was pushed out. You see, we had a prayer before and after the meetings. I told my troop I didn't want to pray. From that moment, my troop leader and the other girls included me less and less in activities. When it became obvious that I wasn't welcome any more, I left. I was 10 years old, very hurt and quite confused.
I didn't learn of the Campfire group until I was an adult, too late to be a troop member. They have this wacky idea of accepting all, regardless of religion (or lack thereof) or sexuality.
For me, that ruins the BSA and the GSA. They are good organizations for kids, but will not be great until they accept all children. I think if they're going to exclude kids, they just need to come out as the religious groups they obviously are ...

I'm convinced that this woman is either high or drunk while taping this show. That can be the only excuse for her bats**t crazy food.

Woogie, most surrogates are not the biological mothers. A donor egg is used to prevent the very problem you mention.

I've heard of this sort of nonsense happening here in the US. I hate to be so frank, but it's bullshit. This stuff is as bad as sporting events where every child gets a trophy just for participating. Those kids are in for a harsh reality when they grown and have to work for a living. Their bosses aren't going to be nearly so concerned for their little feelings ...

Boy, what a bunch of haters and whiners! It's Thanksgiving, relax! If they want to eat that, cool for them. It might not look good to you, but don't judge what others choose to eat. We aren't the food police.
For the record, I'd try it. I probably would never make anything like that .. too darn elaborate .. but I'd be happy to let someone else make it for me.

Frank Zappa is amazing. His parents super purple place fits right in with what I imagined his family to be like .. very unconventional and fantastic.

As soon as I saw this headline, I knew this had happened in Britain. I click the link and it was confirmed. Don't ask me how I knew .. but I did.

I do hope that everyone knows that ghetto is an Italian word refering to an area in which Jews were confined ...
"The term 'Ghetto' was originally used to refer to the Venetian Ghetto in Venice, Italy where Jews were forced to live. The word "ghetto" actually means "foundry" in Italian, a reference to a foundry located on the same island as the area of Jewish confinement."
I realise that it could refer to a black neighborhood, but not always.
I think perhaps this country needs to pick up the English slang word "Chav". Chav would apply very well to the pictured wedding. Tacky would also work.

The strangest thing in all this is that none of my friends have been affected either. In some ways, I feel sort of bad and guilty that we're doing so well. On the other hand, we work hard for what we have.
Life sure is strange ..
