What Ed said. Being able to convert that leg weight into upper body strength is a big advantage. And when a wrestler shoots a leg against a one legger, guess which leg? Knowing the opponents strategy is a nice advantage too. One legged wrestlers isn't that uncommon. Next up: amputations for champions. Scholarships await.

Yeah, well I actually used one regularly as a lad.

Even though more men and women play this sport/game than any other, the producers/editors that make story assignments or allocated space/time look down their noses at it.
It's been that way for decades and probably won't change until The Bowling Channel is launched.
