I agree with Mokuwai--look what trouble Jesus got into. He should have just donated to 'organizations that are properly equipped to actually help them in a much more profound way' instead of all that loaves and fishes bullshit.
Instead of just beating and prosecuting these do-gooders, maybe Orlando should just crucify them.

This is an awesome video! I was also in Bangkok in 2005 and was expecting a super crowded city, but it's so sprawled out that many areas are not very congested at all. We actually had a wonderful time there!

As far as successful pirates, arguably Dick Cheney controls more ships and sailors, and is probably even wealthier, but I seriously doubt he'll get to retire peacefully. Unless prison is more peaceful than reports suggest.

Hey, let's stop pretending that school is good for kids. It isn't. I don't know about other countries, but in the US our school system was designed to break apart families, reduce children's intelligence, curiosity and independence and rank them into winners and (mostly) losers. In this it has been wildly successful. You can read about the history of schooling here: http://www.johntaylorgatto.com/
If you love your kids don't send them to school.

My brother met an old vet who had survived the attack at Pearl Harbor. The vet told him everyone was wondering why the Navy began pulling out the newer ships and bringing into port the older, more obsolete ones--soon before the attack.
I thought that was interesting, though it's second hand hearsay!

Well I have to say, if you aren't used to horror films, some of the imagery is really disturbing. I watched the preview first and thought it was mostly just funny.
I guess I'm a total lightweight, but I'd rather not have that stuff in my head.

I wonder how long till all these huge ships are retired? Once the cost of oil hits $150 to $250/barrel? It will be a blessing to the marine life that has to endure the incredible sonic pollution. But no more cheap crap from China.

I turn to neat-o-rama as a refuge from politics. I'd just as soon not have to see political cartoons here. I go to truthout, or democratic underground for that.
Neat-o-rama restores my faith in the world, by highlighting creative, astonishing and awesome 'stuff'. Keep up the good work.
