"Segue" was mine, always read "say-goo" and even got the basic meaning from context but never put it together to people saying "Seg-way" like on TV until like 9th grade where I had an epiphany.
It certainly doesn't mean nothing. Lots of things are discovered and yet don't find mainstream (or any) uses for many years.
Given its size and deep connection to society, had AT&T decided to develop a magnetic tape machine for business and consumer use in the 1930s rather than be fearful of it, the impact of such actions could have been significant indeed, if only for introducing consumer answering machines 25 years or so earlier.
Hmm, if it was plagiarism or something where you were caught on camera (having a cheat sheet), take the deal, if it was simply a pattern that emerged (e.g. everyone getting the same wrong answers) then I'd stick and tell them to prove it.
I liked the movie but never loved it since I couldn't figure out how the Soviets were able to land paratroopers in friggin Colorado. Not being able to figure out some sort of an attack is coming is forgiveable, I mean its conceiveable the US failed to gather any sort of intelligence about a massive invasion about to take place but paratroopers landing in Colorado? Did it take phone calls from the the local people to alert the government that this was occurring? How is that possible?
That's awesome. I lived out of a van for the last two years of college. The stories and the adventure were fun. Lots of it was a pain in the ass but I wouldn't trade it. I'd drive all up and down the eastern seaboard on vacations and throughout summer and where I was, I had all my stuff. It makes exploring and travel so much more fun. You don't have to pack or worry about any travel arrangements.
Also, People are drinking alcohol in public?!? how has Savannah not been turned into a chaotic cesspool? It's almost as if laws against open carry do nothing but hide the problem, or cause people to double up at home before leaving since they can't drink outside.
I'm beginning to appreciate quality over quantity. I've been getting grass-fed milk delivered in glass bottles, and it is SO good! It's more expensive but the money goes to local farmers and the product is better.
There's a difference between paying for a brand and paying for quality.
Lots of city dwellers in these comments. It is nothing but beneficial to those kids and those cats to interact with gators in that manner. They're probably around them all the time. They get to see and learn how gators behave and will learn how to spot agressive mannerisms. Nobody in that video was in any more danger that anyone driving to work in the morning.
Of course it's cheating, also, it deprives you of one of the main goals of education, learning how to research a topic and prepare and defend a viewpoint of that topic. The actual knowledge is intermediary, as anyone can look it up nowadays. How many people care about the roles of women in Chaucer? Few. But being able to construct a valid viewpoint is important and that's REALLY what the assignment is about. There's little value in the actual paper.
That being said, my wallet is glad that I actually enjoy writing research papers and find it easy. I didn't have to work in college because of people with money that can't do research.
I think I've already mentioned that eating very spiny foods gets me high, like, rubber-legs, head spins, have to look for a chair high.
I think Xbox has the RROD (red ring of death). PS3's heart-dropper is the yellow light of death.
