Windows are the most complicated product in a house (i'm in the building business) and quite expensive. Why bringing more complications to an already problem prone product? Especially when you have neat other ventilation solutions?Sorry, I disagree on this one ;)
Supply chain security. Not unusual. Had a friend doing felony time. Back then, lots of prison stuff was equally weird. Likely it has gotten much more different. (BTW, heat the plastic slowly until it get brittle. Recover the blade by immediately gluing it to a pencil with anything sticky. Wrap it tight with thread.)
I keep a tidy nightstand. I like to be able to grab whatever from in/on my nightstand without needing light or my eyes. Light switch, phone, glasses, book, gun, vibrator, chap stick...
LG has had OLED tv's with 120hz refresh rates for at least a couple years. They even have them with G-Sync or Free-Sync and with a response time of 1ms, up to 77 inches. This is nothing special and not especially neat.
You seem to have the wrong idea about available refresh rates. LED screens for desktops and laptops/notebooks regularly run at 100-120 and can come in refresh rates twice that (or more). Active shutter type 3D tech relies upon it for example.
I thought this might be interesting so clicked the link which took me to The Ringer. If I don't want to accept their cookie policy, I find that I have to waste at least an hour wading through over 70 other sites policies as well. Being spied on is not one of my favourite things so fuck that and fuck The Ringer.
The part that turns me off is the word 'jellied'. That jelly-like substance that comes out of a nose is snot. I don't want a bunch of snot mixed in with my moose nose loaf.
Well, it's important to a backup nightstand knife in case your regular nightstand knife runs out of ammunition.
