When more of us start to realize that people are more important than profits, the better off we will be. That's been a motto of mine for as long as I can remember. But it is a fantasy world.
I was a fan of the earlier Scooby Doo versions when I was a kid growing up in the 80's. Of course, I didn't keep track of the show during the 90's and 2000's versions. But just recently, I introduced the show to my son by watching a newer Scooby Doo movie I found on Netflix (I think it was called Camp Scare). I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and oddly enough, how "sexed up" it had become. They actually portray Velma as being as hot as Daphne. Eegad! And also pleasantly surprised that Matthew Lillard voiced Shaggy and Frank Welker voiced Fred. And oh yeah, I think my son liked it too.
This case is too strange to ignore. Why aren't feet washing ashore on other coastlines? There are countless miles of shoreline across the world and this one particular area seems to be the only one finding severed feet in sneakers. Doesn't that seem odd to anyone else? Something is going on over there. It's not just, "Oh look, another foot in a sneaker. Nothing strange about that. Happens all the time." Yeah, all the time. In the Pacific Northwest.
The things that happen in Spartanburg never cease to amaze me. It is quite possibly the strangest city in the world. I've lived here off and on for most of my life, but have seen enough of the rest of the world to know that Spartanburg is one very weird place.

We always call Target the high-class Walmart. And my wife is there probably close to every day. Drives me crazy.
