Can The Powder inside An Etch-A-Sketch Be Used To Make Thermite?

We all know the Etch-A-Sketch as a toy we got as a kid and thought was pretty cool for a few days before it ended up at the bottom of the toybox.

But I bet kids would see the Etch-A-Sketch as a whole lot cooler if they thought they could make a fiery pyrotechnic composition called Thermite out of the sketchy powder.

This rumor has been circulating around the internet for years, so “The King Of Random” Grant Thompson teamed up with Dan and Lincoln from What's Inside? to test the theory.

GREAT!
Now the Department of Homeland Security will be knocking at your door, if you buy more Etch-a-Sketch toys than you have children in your household.
