Kurzgesagt says "What would it be like if we nuked a city?" The citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki say, "Well, let us tell you about it..." Those bombings were devastating, but nuclear weapons have come a long way since 1945. They are much bigger and more powerful, and the damage goes way beyond the city limits. Even in cheery neon-colored graphics, the story is terrifying.

I remember watching that with my family. My parents were traumatized, but it didn't bother me at all. They asked why, and I told them I had already researched nuclear war and the effects of fallout extensively from just growing up during the Cold war, and the movie was nothing compared to my own imagination.

It must be ~50 years since any world leader observed a nuclear weapons test. I wonder how many have even watched the films. It has even been 36 years since the movie "The Day After" was shown. The people who might take us to nuclear war have less idea of the effects than you have for watching this short video. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_After

I see more and more nuclear catastrophy subjects. It reminds me of my cold war youth. Ha! The sweet memories... should I rejoice?......
