Old Movies Dance to “Uptown Funk”

A good dance beat is classic. In this masterful mashup, the greatest dance scenes in movie history are synched to the song "Uptown Funk." You’ll see Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly, Cyd Charisse, the Nicholas Brothers, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Shirley Temple, Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland, Jimmy Cagney, Eleanor Powell, and even Groucho Marx!

Perhaps the greatest cross-over video of all time. My word goes for little around here, but everyone should search for the original videos.

Why could everyone dance with Fred Astaire but only Ginger Rogers perform with him? Who were the super-human Nicholas Brothers and how did they keep a straight face when Basie kept up with them?
