Members of Shedd Adventures trip to Baja, sponsored by the Shedd Aquarium, saw two live oarfish near the shore, and got some video footage of one of them.
If you’ve read our previous posts on oarfish, you know they normally stay in the deep sea and rarely come close to the surface, much less to shore. There may have been something wrong with the two seen on this expedition. In the open ocean, they can reach 36 feet in length! -via Viral Viral Videos
