Let Us Dilute That For You

It pays to read the ingredients on product labels. My daughter was looking for a breakfast cereal with no sugar in it, and we found out quickly that you’re not going to find any such thing in the cereal aisle. Over in the health food section, all the cold cereals listed an ingredient called “organic dehydrated cane syrup.” Which is a clever euphemism for “sugar.”

Rob Cockerham has been reading ingredients as well, and wants to warn you about the high price of water. When you grab the lesser-price bottle of something, is it really a bargain, or are you paying for half a bottle of water? He goes through several products, like “pre-diluted” antifreeze. Not all of them are honest enough to be labeled “pre-diluted.”
