When you think about it, Edward Rooney from Ferris Bueller's Day Off was just trying to do his job to ensure a high school delinquent didn't get away with ditching school while everyone else had to go. He's not the only movie villain who actually wasn't that bad of a guy in the long run. Cracked has 8 more and they have some really valid points.

I wasn't aware of that fact, Hazy Davy. I hope you're right. Otherwise, that would be a huge slander.

Everyone can be right depending on your point of view.

In the great circle of movie/reality/life, the actor that played Mr. Rooney actually *was* molesting children, right? So Ferris' sister was also right. And the Charlie Sheen character? Uhhh... Fact is, I think everyone in the movie was right. Including Ferris (though it took me a while to realize there was wisdom in saying "you have to let loose")
