It's amazing how far we've come in cake design. How much longer will we have to wait before we have a wedding cake that can actually fly under its own power?

I had a Millennium Falcon groom's cake. It was pretty incredible (taste and look). However, it didn't have working lights! It was the talk of our wedding.

Almost seems like a shame to eat a cake like this! But, I guess that's the point of it. If you weren't going to eat it, you might as well not have a cake-version of it.

I am the bride from this wedding... It tasted amazing. It is carrot cake that was moist and perfect. Fondant was not used - it is rolled chocolate which also tasted wonderful. The dirt underneath was edible as well. Per the baker: "It's a mixture of brown sugar, oatmeal, nilla wafers and graham crackers." Are any of these cakes actually good to eat?
