The Top Ten Movie Presidents

If we could select the US president from the movies, who would be elected? That’s not really the aim of this list; it’s about the presidential portrayals we enjoyed watching the most. When I got to #2 (my personal favorite), I knew who #1 would be. Still, I think Kevin Kline’s character in the movie Dave should have been included. With all the hoopla surrounding a new president, we sometimes forget what was said in the farewell address of the outgoing president. In today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss, test your recall of the last official words from various presidents. Can you match the president with the words of wisdom he dropped on the way out? I couldn’t; I got only one right and scored a measly 14%! Link

Presidential Firsts

Who was the first president for eleven different questions? I only scored 45%, because, um, I didn’t know the answers! But I learned quit a bit. Link
