Illustrator Marco D'Alfonso has brought this bizarre coupling to life with an extremely appropriate Married With Children inspired artwork that should immediately become the basis for a new web series starring the two loving loons.

It must be hard for young Japanese students to keep track of every single prefecture in Japan, since there are 47 in all, but one mom came up with a really fun way for her kids to keep track of them all while eating their lunch.

Twitter user Sasariri created these really cute bento box lunches featuring a map of the prefecture cut out of seaweed, and some include food products shaped like items associated with the region, like the carp-shaped windsocks of Kyoto or the Tokyo Tower.

Some sculptors work small, some sculptors work traditional and conservative, but Cameron Stalheim likes to create sculptural works of art that are sometimes large, sometimes disturbing, but always bizarre.

Cameron doesn’t sacrifice realism for the sake of strange, in fact the stark realism present in his works only adds to the uncomfortable feeling you get while looking at these twisted figures, many of which seem to be dead or dying.

With titles like "Despondent Debutante", "Fathoms of Obsession" and the extremely thought provoking "and then I saw Colby on the street and my fantasy died" Cameron is clearly trying to draw the viewer into his morbid fantasies, leading them through the dark depths of his imagination.

The first internet connection in China was established in 1987, and now they have the most internet users in the world, but they’ve been a bit slow to catch up with the rest of the world in terms of internet trends.

Memes, silly animal videos, and nerd rage are all relatively new to Chinese users, but there is one area where they’re quickly catching up- trolling. 

A uniquely Chinese form of trolling is taking place, based around hilarious photoshopped images, and it’s the most adorable form of trolling ever. 

These trolls aren’t particularly vicious, nor are they preying on unwitting members of the online community, these trolls are being fed by people who want to see what the trolls will do with the images they receive:

It's the kindest, gentlest form of trolling you can find on the internet, and the idea of turning an image like this:

Into something as innocently 'shopped as this will make you want to go "d'awww!":

The ronin rabbit Usagi Yojimbo was created by Stan Sakai in 1984, at the height of the anthropomorphic comic book character craze, but Usagi has always been a bit different than the other critter comic stars.

His tales were less about life as a rabbit and more about the life of a ronin, because in Usagi’s alternate version of Japan's Edo period every character is an animal, so he doesn't have to wear a disguise or deal with mutant problems like his friends the Ninja Turtles.

Usagi was a fan favorite from day one, and his action packed comics are just as fun to read today as they were when they first came out, so why hasn’t Usagi Yojimbo been adapted for the big screen?

A film adaptation is finally being discussed, and as this proof-of-concept short film released by Lintika Films reveals it might actually live up to the geeky dreams of Usagi Yojimbo's fans.

Lintika seems to be staying faithful to the source material, but they still have to overcome a budgetary hurdle before the film can actually begin production.
