1. Santa Claus Conquers The Martians (1964, USA)-

This kooky old sci-fi flick features Santa Claus squaring off against militant Martians who have abducted him, along with a couple of kids, so they can put Santa to work making toys for the children of Mars.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is an admittedly schlocky flick, but there's something delightfully kitschy about the film that makes it a yearly Xmas tradition in my house!

2. Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984, USA)-

When Santa comes down your chimney with a bag full of toys he's your buddy, but when he shows up with a fire axe you'd better watch out!

Silent Night, Deadly Night is one of two movies from the 80s featuring a crazed killer in a Santa outfit, but unlike the earlier Christmas Evil this film almost makes you feel sorry for the killer!

3. Santa Claus (1959, Mexico)-

This odd film from Mexico gives us a glimpse inside Santa's Toyland castle in outer space where he employs the famous wizard Merlin and watches over all the boys and girls in the world. His operation is threatened when Satan sets out to kill him by making every kid in the world turn naughty, sending the slapstick devil Pitch to Earth so he can finish the job.

Can Santa save the children of the world (mostly Mexico, of course) from turning in to rotten little brats? Hunt this vintage oddity down and find out! (The MST3K version is on Netflix).

Wrecking Ball by Naolito

Gojira was making a comeback, and he wanted to show the world that he was no longer the innocent little kaiju he used to be, so he decided to come in for his grand reappearance atop a wrecking ball. He needed to show the world that he's sassy, dangerous and totally electric, a scaly pop culture superstar ready to blow the world away with his free spirited attitude. Unfortunately, the public was not adoring, and they didn't like having some movie star diva smash up their town for some cheap publicity!

Ever since Photoshop came to town photos have become much less believable overall, because anybody can now erase, shape, edit, airbrush, color correct, clone stamp, warp, filter, soften via blur and add to any and all photos whenever they want.

Addition via Photoshop can be a powerful tool, and one little addition is all it takes to entirely change the meaning of a photograph.

Over 9000 by Donnie

The minions were all involved in an epic dragon ball fighter storyline which had gone super saiyan, and one little minion was said to have the highest banana fueled strength score in the compound. Scans confirmed that spiky haired Gomiku had a strength score of over 9000, a fact which caused his fellow fighters to give up the game! Gru, however, wasn't told anything about the dragon fighter game his little minions were playing, and he made the fatal mistake of raising his voice at Gomiku, whose little yellow body was now crackling with banana scented energy...

When families go out looking for a place that evokes that old time Christmas feeling, chances are they’re looking for something far better than the so-called Magical Winterland in Harrogate, UK, the attraction that was so bad it was forced to close after just one day.

The Magical Winterland suckered people into buying presale tickets with promises of holiday fun for the whole family, including a Frozen singalong and photo-op with Olaf, but when guests arrived at the showground they found the saddest displays ever, all leading to the saddest live reindeer ever.

And what about a meet-and-greet with Olaf? It seems Olaf would rather melt than be associated with the crappy winter wonderland!

The company responsible for this Christmastime blunder of Grinchian proportions has since gone bankrupt, and they're currently under investigation by the North Yorkshire Trading Standards pending the forced closure.

I dunno- seems like a pretty accurate depiction of the holiday season to me!

The shape of the box usually gave away the contents of those NES related presents, but the big surprise was seeing which game was hiding under the paper.
