Guardianz: Infinity Days - The Battle Can Wait, We're On Tour!

Guardianz Infinity Days by Kent Cribbs

Everyone assumes being a Guardian of the galaxy is a full time job, but there's actually a lot of downtime between battles with super villains and mad titans. The Guardians were going a bit stir crazy sitting around waiting for some intergalactic scumbag to set an evil plan into action, so they decided to form a band. Star-Lord had always been a big fan of rock 'n' roll, so he showed the rest of the crew how to properly rock someone's face off, and before they knew it they had recorded a groundbreaking marvel of an album called Infinity Days. Taking a note from an animated Earth band called Gorillaz they decided to replace the -s with a -z and pose in profile for the album cover, and the rest is superheroic rock history!

Get geared up for the greatest concert that will never happen, bring home this Guardianz: Infinity Days t-shirt by Kent Cribbs and pretend you went to the Guardianz first concert!

10 Mistakes You Might Have Missed In The Original Star Wars Trilogy

Well before George Lucas "fixed" mistakes in his movies by adding cheesy CGI characters and effects then eliminating the original cut he and the original Star Wars trilogy crew simply left them all in.

These mistakes became geeky easter eggs for fans to discover and discuss online, but most of these nerfherded scenes were originally left in the films because it would have cost too much to re-shoot the scenes.

Screen Rant is back with another entertaining compilation of cinematic calamities, this time focusing on the original Star Wars trilogy to reveal mistakes we might have missed. Who knew Jedis had to plug in their lightsabers?!

A Distinctly Japanese Version Of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal

Certain Michael Jackson songs make you wanna move whenever they come on, and MJ fans can't help but break out their best moonwalk or Smooth Criminal strut when they hear their favorite song.

Smooth Criminal is one of those songs that gets stuck in your head for weeks after hearing it once, but at least this version is a new breed of MJ earworm that'll change things up a bit in your brain.

(YouTube Link)

This incredibly beautiful version of Smooth Criminal is performed by Yoshimi Tsujimoto on the shakuhachi (Japanese flute) with accompaniment by a backup duo of koto players.

And while Yoshimi doesn't know who Annie is, or whether she's okay, she does know that Michael Jackson's timeless tunes sound great no matter the instrument or musical style.

Little Merbob Maidpants - There Are Some Strange Things Lurking Under The Sea

Little Merbob Maidpants by Cart00nlion

I wish I could say this switcheroo is a joke, or a horrible accident, but it's not. This is what happens when you anger the Cartoon Gods, and your animated life becomes a cruel joke. The switch is probably worse for poor Ariel, who will now spend the rest of her toon life as a dried up and unloved old sponge, because Bob still has lots of friends to hang out with under the sea. And, to be fair, every one of Mr. Squarepants' "friends" have always seen him as a bit of an offbeat character...

Make 'em laugh with this incredibly ridiculous Little Merbob Maidpants mashup t-shirt by Cart00nlion, it's sure to put smiles on the faces of your fellow cartoon fans!

Dad Photobombs Daughter's Homecoming Photo

Dads are mighty protective of their daughters, especially in regard to who their teenage daughters are allowed to date, so boys should expect to be given a hard time when they meet daddy.

This gentle, yet psychologically effective, ribbing usually involves jokes about papa's trusty shotgun and all the bad things that will happen if daddy's little girl is brought home late.

But is this daddy wasn't content with idle threats, he prefers the "scar them for life" technique:

Ricarra and her boyfriend thought their homecoming photo session would breeze by, since her pro photographer mother Sharee Schock was taking all the pics.

But then daddy came down and turned the whole thing into yet another awkward moment in two teenage lives, a moment they'll never live down since the pics have been posted to the internet. Thanks dad!

Beluga Whale Wows Navy Team With His Impression Of Human Chatter

I'm not sure if Noc the beluga whale has been watching too much human TV, or if it's a simple case of humans thinking everything sounds human, but Noc really has the whole chattering human routine down pat!

Noc was tamed by the United States Navy in the 1970s so he could help locate and retrieve sunken torpedos and mines, and he has not taken to working with humans like a fish out of water because he loves his human pals.

He likes his human friends so much that Noc even likes to play tricks on them, making divers think they've heard radio chatter telling them to get out of the water, with playful Noc laughing all the while.

If you'd like to read more about an amazing beluga named Noc check out this Smithsonian article from 2014, it's a whale of a tale and it's true!

Have Bela Lugosi And Boris Karloff Come Back From The Grave?!

The creatures of the night are crawling out of their dank graves and dark tombs to get us all in the Halloween mood, but you're safe (for now) because these aren't the real monsters we fear.

No, these are simply amazing sculptures by Mike Hill that look so realistic they make our skin crawl!

These incredibly lifelike sculptures celebrate the early years of monster movies, as well as paying homage to moments that changed the horror game, like Rick Baker's groundbreaking special effects work on An American Werewolf In London.

Mike Hill's sculptures really speak for themselves, but many of Mike's works deal with macabre subject matter so maybe "scream for themselves" is a more appropriate description!

The Ultimate Disguise For The Dog Who Loves Carrots

Dogs will go to great lengths for a tasty treat to chew on, especially if it's human food instead of their boring old kibble, but dressing up to look like stuffed animals is a truly innovative technique.

Leave it to Maymo and Penny to come up with such a clever plan in their quest for carrots, too bad they didn't add eyeholes to their costumes so they could see where they were going...

Shikaka - The Sound Of One Man Solving Pet Related Crimes

Shikaka by Mos T-Shirts

He didn't earn the title "Ace" by solving all kinds of pet murder cases and making the world a safer place for petkind. No, Ace is actually his name, but you can call him Mr. Ventura if you're nasty. Ace Ventura is the leading authority on pet related crimes in Miami, Florida, but that doesn't mean he's a two-dimensional dude. For there's a lot more to Ace's life than just pet rescue- he's a master impressionist, fashion consultant for Don Ho's band, and one heck of a good dancer thanks to the lessons he received from a cockatoo he once rescued from the jaws of a hungry crocodile. And when you hear someone yelling "Shikaka!" you know that's Ace coming to turn the place upside down!

Get wild with your wardrobe by bringing home this Skikaka t-shirt by Mos T-Shirts, it's way more comfortable than a Hawaiian shirt and it's sure to inspire people to show you their best Ace Ventura impressions!

If Disney Movies Were Faithful To Their Fairy Tale Source Material

We all know classic Disney cartoons put a gentle spin on classic fairy tales, replacing the blood and death with song and dance segments to keep the content as close to G rated as possible.

But if you take a look at the original fairy tale source material you'll see that Disney chose some disturbingly violent stories to adapt.

And now, thanks to Paul Westover, illustrator extraordinaire for CollegeHumor, you can really see what they would look like if Disney Movies Were Faithful To Their Source Material, in a word- bloody. You've been warned!
