When I used to fly I saw this sort of situation pretty often. Some parents think it's funny. Other parents don't watch their kids for differing reasons. It's not funny and could be dangerous. I just don't like kids climbing all over other people's suitcases. Manners, people!

I was in school (6th grade) when Kennedy was shot. My nana was watching the tv coverage when it happened and called my mother to tell her what she saw. Our school sent all of the kids home with no explanation why we were let loose early. When I walked in the house my mother was sitting on a chair in front of the tv crying and I had no idea why. I remember a reporter asking Jackie why didn't she change her bloody clothes and she replied: "let them see what they've done." That's why I don't believe Oswald killed him. Also because of Oswald's response when he was arrested and told of Kennedy's death: "Oh, so I'm the patsy."

It's always amazed me how anyone could possibly draw out a map and display the layout of land and mountains and bodies of water without viewing such from high up in the air.

I'm allergic to sulfites and can't drink any kind of wine because it gives me terrible headaches. I have considered trying those drops you put in wine to prevent those headaches but I don't know if they work and don't know anyone who has used them to tell me if they do work. They make wine without sulfites but the shelf life is short and it costs more than 'regular' wine.

Sorry, no. There is no grace in them. They are like skeleton bones. No 'meat' on them. I don't find them to be welcoming structures. Imposing? Yes. Someplace you would willingly want to live or work in? My answer is "No".

I lived near Fenton (I also lived in Fenton in Michigan) in Louisiana and were informed early on after moving there to avoid going anywhere near Fenton unless you wanted a ticket. Listen and learn!

Yeah, I am a "texture person". There are just some things I can't eat because of the texture feeling I get from them. (Also a bit of trauma regarding onions. Thanks, mom.) I wish it wasn't this way and I've tried to overcome or ignore those physical reactions I get (like vomiting, sorry) but to no avail. So, I am classified as a picky eater. And that's okay. I make do just fine.

I quit flying about 15 years ago when I was on a commercial flight and we were all wearing our seatbelts and it was starting to roll down the runway gathering speed to take off when a man leapt over 3 aisles of seats and grabbed the emergency door handle and started yanking on it in a frenzy. Other passengers jumped up and grabbed him and pulled him away from the door. I couldn't believe that they continued with the flight after that happened. I swore I would never fly again.

My husband was taking a quantum physics class and the teacher was really inept. He didn't understand the information he was teaching and the entire class was struggling with his tests and their reviews of the answers. His wise advice? "Think faster." sheesh!

Extreme pressure? When I was in 6th grade my family had moved to Michigan for my dad's new job promotion. My new school had a cooking/home economics class that I found myself in. The teacher handed me a raw egg in it's shell and told me to hold it until it was needed for her recipe. I had read that you could use extreme pressure on both ends of an egg and it wouldn't break. So I stood there for half an hour squeezing the top and bottom of the egg as hard as I could. When the teacher asked for the egg I placed it in the palm of her hand where it exploded all over her. Did not anticipate that...
