Is it true that you should never eat any sea creature that's blue? I read something that said an animal, colored blue, was indicative of being highly poisonous.
IF the invisible man qualifies as a 'monster' then my $$s on him. If not? Then I have to choose Dracula. Always go for the vampire. He offers the best results, IMO...
I just love when someone's final wish can be granted. When people are at the end of their lives they have so few demands or wishes. For people to make their wishes come true is such a grace, such an extreme kindness, IMO. May we all have people who care enough about us that our final wish(es) can come true.
So... what happened to all of that meat? Were people encouraged to eat it, take some home for later noshing or was it just wasted? I would hope people were allowed to help themselves to the abundance of jerky just lying out there in the sun. There's no reason to let meat spoil just for the sake of 'art'...
My grandfather was an odd one. He married his first wife (my nana) named Mary. After she passed he went to the 'old country' and married another woman named Mary. He had a pet parakeet named 'Petey-boy'. When it died he got another parakeet and named it 'Petey-boy'... I guess it takes less effort to learn new names, eh?
Never been stung by a fire ant? It burns (just like fire) but the bite becomes a horrible blister that festers and then you end up with a scar. I got bit too many times the first year I moved down here and now I am pretty allergic to their stings. Got to keep an epi-pen in the house now. Needless to say but I rarely walk on my lawn anymore. grrr
I moved to Louisiana 6 yrs ago. We have fire ants and boy are they miserable. Ant dirt piles all over the yard, don't even think of walking on the grass w/o shoes.
Well... last year we got crazy ants. They are calling them raspberry crazy ants. They call them 'crazy' because they don't follow each other in a line like other ants do. No, they run around in all directions. They are quite small. They absolutely love to eat fire ants. They ate them all on our lawn. They don't bite, which a great thing! Apparently they also like electronics, cables, wires, cell phone, stuff like that. They haven't eaten any of our stuff (just the ants) but I have heard stories about folks in Florida having a pretty rough time with them. Have no idea how to stop them but if they keep eating my fire ants then they can stay.
So, it's always the woman's fault for bad coffee? sheesh! These lazy ass men! IF they like a certain brand then why don't they clue their wives into it instead of insulting them for their efforts? If my husband treated me like that then he'd be doing most of his own cooking. Be helpful, be encouraging, be supportive. Belittle me and you are own your own, bud.
