They are not a "real" ladybug, but an Asian invader - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladybug#Alien_species and they bite. I suck them up with the vacuum whenever I see them.

Depends what country you're in. I think. Anyway, one of my pet peeves in a lot of movies where someone runs out of air, is the precise calculations they use... "We have 27.3 minutes of air left - start a digital counter with red LEDs!"
