The World Worm Charming championship was held yesterday in Cheshire, England. Worm charming {wiki} is the act of attracting worms from the ground, originally for bait, but now also for competition. When low on the horizon, the Moon can appear to be larger than when it's higher in the sky. It's all an illusion, scientists say, and it does not involve any enlarging effects of the atmosphere. Rather, it's all in your mind.

The Palm Beach Zoo announced the arrival of red ruffed lemur triplets, born May 21st. This lemur species is critically endangered, with only around 1,000 surviving in the wild.
