I'm glad someone fixed it up for the internet. I recall trying to drop the needle at just the right point in the lion's roar to do this, and it was never easy. Then vinyl went out of style and I wondered how the younger generation does it.
Homemade American nougat is not bad... basically cooked butter, milk, and sugar, often just called "candy base" because we often add other ingredients and flavorings. When you make it yourself, you can control those preservatives!
