I have no problem with wearing jeans for many days -as long as I have clean underwear and an occasional shower. As the one who does the laundry, I see how much of our clothing ends up in the lint filter. My four teenagers could stand to wear their jeans a few few more days, but they tend to drop them in the floor and forget them until I make them shovel out their rooms.
Oh, y'all are focused on going DOWN. Imagine having to climb those!
I once worked in a 6-story building. One day both elevators were out, and I was on the ground floor with my boss. I was 30 or so, he was about 50. I started sprinting up the stairs and saw he was lagging. He said "Go ahead, I've done this before. I'll see you up there in about 15 minutes."

I remember the Christmas of 1975 pretty well. I got the long green cardigan with pockets that I wanted. I also got a sewing machine. The reason those are so clear in my mind is because my house burned down a couple of weeks later and all the new Christmas things were suddenly gone. I was 17.
I visited the American Doll store in Chicago about ten years ago. Up on the top floor, they had a cafeteria where dozens of girls, who all seemed much too old for this sort of thing, were wearing fancy dresses and sitting beside their dolls who were dressed just like them, having lunch. Thoroughly creepy.
