I love this stuff, too. If you've ever seen someone carry a hand-held black light into an antique store, they are looking for uranium glass. They use the light to see if its the real thing or a colored knockoff.
That was my first reaction, too. I was surprised when I read the whole thing and found it worthwhile, but had to add some "visual interest" to get past the title.

Thaxted, I've notice all my life that if someone around my age is the youngest in the family, they probably have a lot of siblings, but if they are the oldest, there's only two or three. I was born in 1958.
