I remember that night. Seeing Nixon on Laugh-In was so surprising that the whole family roared laughing. Politicians just didn't appear on comedy shows, especially one as weird as Laugh-In. But the whole nation was watching.
I tried to tell one of my kids that you could buy pectin-based jello that didn't use animal products, and she said, "Where?" Thanks to this link, now I can tell her.
My brother uses the name Brother Bill when commenting on any of the sites I post on. Some of the older relatives in the family still call him Billy like when he was a kid. He told his wife (when they first met) that his name is William and that's what she calls him, even 20 years later, which is totally foreign to the rest of the family.
Well, in a place that executes people in such a manner, they need plenty of walls to keep the people from voting with their feet. They also probably line people up against it for executions when they don't have the time to bury them.
Bless their hearts. Just like when you posted about kudzu, Alex, I am once again amazed at parts of my everyday life that other people find to be strange, different, and interesting. Or funny. http://www.neatorama.com/2008/04/17/houses-covered-in-kudzu/
There are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks that should come with umbrellas. Like coconut punch, which is a pina colada without the rum. Most bartenders have a selection of fancy cocktails available for designated drivers, teetotalers, and pregnant women. Oh, and kids.
They don't think it's murder. According to the linked article, there was a cemetery there long ago, and the gravestones were moved to a new site, but the bodies were left behind. There are probably lots more underneath those grounds.
But I see your point as far as the puzzle goes.
