Ha! You know, when the kids were young, we went to so much trouble to make sure everything was equal -like, if we got one kid a pink cup, we got the others cups also, in their favorite color. We didn't have much trouble out of them, and lately I wondered why I bothered. But seeing your comment, I realize what could have happened.
Wow, I had a monochromatic eater too. When she was two, she'd only eat yellow food, which was easy (cheese, eggs, orange juice), but then she went to only eating white food for several years, which was downright scary. At least red food contains tomatoes and strawberries.
Oh man, I clearly recall when my little brother was that age. He had a meltdown because he wanted to watch a certain TV show. It was about 1962, and if it wasn't being broadcast at that time, no one could watch it. He did not want to listen to my explanation.
