Another meh vote for the Wii. It just feels so mainstream and, well, meh. I also like sitting on my ass when I gun down terrorists. Because that's the wired future of war, anyway.
Well, the landline phone will have to live on a little, as long as there are offices that have dozens of extensions. Or will there be some huge switcher router that will be programmed to shoot calls to workers' mobiles?
Also, I hope they're wrong about cursive and handwriting schooling. It's something you sometimes need, like filling out forms, and not a lost art, yet.
Mark Ryden is my favorite artist. If only he could get Christina Ricci to model this stuff, I'm positive he'd just die a happy man. His stuff is all about the surreal, with recurring images like Lincoln, Jesus, meat, bees, and random numbers. And doe-eyed girls.
Yeah, those guys freeing the bobcat were not doofuses, they were brave samaritans. I frankly expected a bugger of a slashing when they freed it. Cool cat just glided up the one guy's back and split.
It's an apt gesture for a guy who inspired us to (try to) settle our petty differences and go into space. Hopefully his dream will someday be fulfilled.
