There are a million reasons why putting a ring in your prospective fiance's food is a terrible idea, but when you can't even be bothered to sneak the thing into something a little more classy than a budget chicken sandwich from your local fast food restaurant, you have to ask yourself: do you really even care if she says yes?

And of course, spelling things out in flower petals is entirely romantic, but maybe you should consult a dictionary before you ask her to "merry" you. 

We at Neatorama are suckers for a good love story, but most of these proposals at Awkward Family Photos are anything but -although I wouldn't mind a Star Wars or Pokemon proposal.

Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock and the rest of the Peanuts gang might be have some humorous adventures in their ordinary suburban life, but in Westeros, no one is safe from death. Artist Philip Horoton has made a few great cartoons showing what happens when the Peanuts travel to the world of George R.R. Martin.

While Philip has quite a few great comic mashups, these are so far the only two combining Peanuts and Game of Thrones, but I really hope he makes more because these are so promising already.

There are some things created for holidays that are totally uninteresting within days of the date passing. This metal band of baby chicks that the Download Festival put together in celebration of Easter is not one of those things. It may have been made for Easter, but these Rock Chicks are enjoyable all year round.

Aside from facts about his skills as a stuntman and martial artist, the list gives you a good idea of why Jackie Chan is just a good guy all around. While an overwhelming number of movies are set in California because it's just easier for Hollywood studios to say they're filming where they're already located, there are still plenty of movies set outside the Golden State. If you've ever wondered what the highest-rated movie set in your state happens to be, you're in luck because this map does an excellent job visualizing this information. 

As someone in the state of California, I am happy and a bit surprised to learn that of all the films set here, Pulp Fiction is the highest rated. So how about you guys, are you happy about your state film?

Ben & Jerry's featured a beer-flavored ice cream in their recipe book, but now they're taking it a step further by partnering with New Belguim to create a beer that's flavored like ice cream. Specifically, their new flavor will mimick their Salted Caramel Blondie flavor and will be called Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale.

Of course, in yet another example of "this is why adults can't have nice things," some groups are already up in arms, claiming that the company is obviously marketing to children and showing them that beer is just one step away from children. I can't wait to hear what they say when B&J releases the marijuana-infused ice cream they're planning to sell in states where the drug has been legalized.

This little sea lion is a rebel without a cause and he doesn't give a damn what you think about his lifestyle. He wanted to go to high school and he did just that -walking five blocks from the beach to a school in San Diego. Unfortunately, The Man has decided that sea lions can't attend human schools, so the police soon scooped him up and detained him until animal contol officers arrived to put him in his place.

The sheriff's department reported that "while deputy sheriffs attempted to interview him as to his activities, he clammed up and requested his lawyer," the news release said.

I say sea lions are mammals and shouldn't be forced to attend fish schools just because they swim in the ocean. This little guy is a hero for his kind, fighting for his rights!
