Are You Patriotic Enough for the Independence Dog?

Hot dogs are an American tradition and I'm willing to bet that almost any of you who went to a Fourth of July barbeque probably had the option to eat one, even if you chose not to. That being said, you can make a hot dog even more all-American with a little extra work -that's where the Vulgar Chef comes in.

When the Fourth came around this year, the Vulgar Chef took advantage of the holiday by making the most American hot dog of all time -the Independence Dog. This delightful monstrosity takes a typical hot dog, wraps in bacon, then covers it in in ground beef. The meat log is then deep fried, covered in marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and then served on a bun made of deep fried macaroni and cheese.

Let freedom ring my friends!

These Pokemon Make Bath Time Fun For Adults

There are a lot of fun bath toys out there for kiddos and plenty of fancy, relaxing bath products out there for adults, but it's rare to find something that bridges that gap. FizzyFairyApothecary sells Pokeball bath bombs that are a perfect combination of both adult and childhood baths.

Each bath bomb looks like a Pokemon ball and comes with a Pokemon toy inside -it's like getting a toy inside your cereal again!

The Worlds Weirdest Ice Cream Trucks

And that's only one of the crazy trucks out there delivering delicious ice cream to the masses. Check out the rest of the list over at InventorSpot.

Beautiful Pictures Depicting the View From Airplane Windows

Some people hate air travel, which is understandable considering how uncomfortable the process can be these day, but for many, the discomfort is easy enough to overlook in favor of the excitement of travel. If you fall into the later category, you might just love these amazing artworks made by artist Jim Darling.

By showing the view from an airplane window, he perfectly captured the thrill of coming down to land in a new, unknown location. The images are likely to make you long for that feeling you get when you are just about to explore a new destination.

Public Shamings That Ruined People's Lives

Public shaming has presumably been used as a punishment since people realized they could shame one another, but while shaming was once localized and would usually involve a pretty big faux pas, the internet means someone's entire life can be ruined by total strangers over something as minor as a tasteless Tweet.

This great TopTenz list demonstrates ten times people were publicly shamed online in ways that totally damaged their lives. While you could argue that at least most of them should have known better, it's hard to fault the baseball fan who tried to catch a foul ball and then ruined his team's chances of making it to the Series.

Forget Pink Plastic Flamingos, These Lawn Ornaments Are Where It's At

Plastic lawn flamingos are cool and all, but they're a little cliche. If you love the idea of lawn ornaments but want something a little more unique, you might consider heading over to Flamingo Incognito's Etsy shop where you can grab one-of-a-kind, handmade, flamingo-like ornaments.

From dragons to mermaids and from t-rex's to sea monsters, we can't get enough of these crazy, geeky sculptures that are all upcycled from boring, busted old pink flamingos.

I can't help but think that John Waters would love these, even if he wouldn't name a movie after it.

Goats Dressed Like Minions Are The Best Minions

(Video Link)

If you ever poke around the Neatoshop, then you probably already know that we're simply mad about Minions. We've seen Cookie Monster, Sponge Bob and even Baymax cosplay as our favorite yellow followers, but this is the first time we've seen real-life animals donning the daring Minion look -and the result is purely fabulous.

Headed to Comic Con? Then Follow the Yellow Brick Road

We've previously wrote about the fact that some of the coolest things to do during the San Diego Comic Con don't actually involve the convention at all. That's most certainly the case when it comes to the first night after party -The Great Royal Marshmallow.

This outlandish affair will feature burlesque, an art show, a charity auction, live tattooing, live music, a top dj and more. Perhaps best of all, it will be Wizard of Oz themed! If you're heading out to the con, consider stopping by and saying "hello" -I'll be there in person.

The Sushirrito Is A Combination of the World's Best Foods

Sushi is fantastic, but it's awfully hard to eat on the go. On the other hand burritos are marvelous, but they can feel a little heavy. So why not combine the portability of a classic burrito with the fresh offerings of a tasty sushi roll.

Right now Sushirrito is only open in the Bay Area, but I for one can't wait until they are everywhere!

All Hail the Dood

The Dude abides. An Ood obeys. The Dood? Who knows how well he follows orders, but he certainly is cool, man.

This Mama Bunny Is Willing to Protect Her Baby From Any Danger

(Video Link)

The bond between mother and child isn't just a human trait, but is common in all types of animals. This video shows that rabbits are absolutely in that category -when this mother bunny sees a snake trying to make a meal of her kit, she doesn't resign herself to be short one less baby, but instead hops into action and does what it takes to save her child.

30 Years After the Goonies: Where Are They Now?

It's hard to believe (especially if you grew up in the 80s), but the Goonies is turning 30 this year. In celebration of this monumental occassion, Flavorwire has rounded up a great "where are they now" list featuring the current status of all the main actors in the films.

A fan favorite, Sloth, isn't around any more. In fact, the ex-football player died at only 38 from an accidental overdose. Don't worry though, most of the stories aren't so sad, but actually pretty cool.

Totally Terrifying Prehistoric Sea Monsters

There are a lot of people who are scared of sharks, but if we traveled back 1.5 million years, we'd find a monster that would terrify the biggest, baddest of sharks -the megalodon. And believe it or not, the megalodon is only ranked ten on TopTenz's list of teffifying prehistoric sea monsters.

So what's scarier than a megalodon? How about a dunkleosteus  -a 30 foot long beast with a bite force of 8,000 pounds per square inch, which leaves it tied to with the T Rex and crocodiles  for strongest bit force in history. Even scarier, the creature could open its mouth so quickly that it would vacuum food into its mouth -including prey as large as a human.

Check out the full list of horrific beasts at TopTenz.
