Some dogs are natural enemies of lemons and some just don't know what the heck to make of them. Love them or hate them though, watching dogs react to lemons is always enjoyable -especially when it's a four minute long video featuring multiple dogs freaking out about the sour, strange taste of the little yellow fruit.

This wild peacock lives in Malinda Coltura's neighborhood and he seems to be pretty well cared for and relaxed -even around pesky kittens. This kitten doesn't know that peacocks can be mighty aggressive or even what a peacock is, but he seems pretty happy to have found a new best friend complete with all kinds of great cat toys. The peacock may try to keep up his majestic composure, but it's hard to look so proud with a little kitten messing with you nonstop.

Daylight Savings Time makes for some weird situations -one particularly strange example took place this year, when Emily and Seth Peterson gave birth to twins on November 6. One twin, Samuel, was born at 1:39 AM, but the later born twin arrived after the time change -at 1:10 AM. So which one is older -the one born first or the one born at an earlier time?

This precious ball of baby hippo was abandoned by his family when he was only a few days old and he almost didn't survive. But the plucky little guy was loved on by his rescuers and when he made a best friend, things really turned around for him. Sure hippos and rhinos might not hang out in the outside world, but when the two baby orphans met, it didn't matter that they were different species, it just mattered that they could help each other move on from their hardships and have fun together. And isn't that the cornerstone of a real friendship no matter what species are involved?

Before all the results came out yesterday, you may have spotted a number of articles focused not on the candidates, but on where you could get free or discounted food or drinks for voting yesterday. Krispy Kreme gave out free donuts, Firehouse Subs gave out free drinks, Nestle Toll House Cafe provided free cookies -even the local deli I went to yesterday offered $2 pints of beer for those wearing "I voted stickers." But what you might not know is that rewarding people for voting is illegal, even if it's done in a totally non-partisan manner like the ones listed above. In fact, the only company I listed above that wouldn't be busted for their promotion was Krispy Kreme because they changed their promotion from giving a donut away to those who voted to giving it away to anyone who came in.
Sure the Federal Election Commission hasn't really gone after anyone for running these types of promotions, other than issuing a warning to some of the larger corporations, but the fact remains that they absolutely have the right to. Learn more about the law over at Eater.

Penguins are generally monogamous, but not always -and this poor guy found out the hard way that his wife fell into the "not always" category. When he fights the "other bird" to futily try to win back his wife it's sad, but when he desperately tries one last time to get her to come back to him, it's utterly heartbreaking -and Twitter agrees with me:

How much do you know about Disney World? Unless you're a mega fan, chances are you don't know all the trivia bits on this fascinating Travel and Leisure article. Even if you know all about the secret tunnels, the basket ball court, the suite in Cinderella's castle and Club 33, you will probably be surprised by at least a few of the facts. For example, I had no idea that the presidential seal in the Hall of Presidents was such a big deal:

Thanks to a certain presidential candidate claiming that the election is "rigged," voter confidence in the election process is at an all time low. But the reality is that election fraud is actually incredibly rare, which is why anyone doubting the system should check out this Daily Dot article debunking four of the most common election fraud myths. For example:
While Trump is correct that there are 1.8 million dead people are registered as voters, he leaves out one critical fact: None of them actually voted.
So no matter how you plan on voting tomorrow, remember that your vote does count -and imaginary voter fraud isn't going to change it.
We're in that one time of year that's just loaded with holidays -Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's (just to name a few), but summers are a totally holiday drag. I don't know about you guys, but we wish holidays were more equally spread out throughout the year because we all need something to celebrate sometimes. That's why we support adding more holidays to the calendar and rather than taking the time and effort to make a new holidays, it's easier to just make fictional ones from television and movies into real holidays. This Zimbio article offers a good selection of fictional celebrations, so I say we start pulling a few dates from this list and make the rest of the year more festive already.

Oscar Wilde is one of those charming historical characters with a totally tragic life. If you love the author's stories and want to know more about the man responsible or if you are just fascinated by his life in general, you won't want to miss this great list on Publisher's Weekly featuring things you probably don't know about Oscar. For example, did you know his father was involved in quite a huge sex scandal? Or that Oscar brought on his own downfall when he sued someone that called him a sodomite? It's quite an interesting read and it certainly adds a little background to some of the stories about Oscar and some context to his stories.
Finding a ready and willing sexual partner isn't easy, but when you do, it's sometimes surprisingly wonderful, leaving you with nothing to say but "wow." And this tortoise knows how that feels -and he can't stop expressing his excitement with just that word. At least there's no question as to whether or not he's having a good time.
