This Brewery Will Custom-Make a Beer for You Based on Your DNA

The flavors you like are partially based on how sensitive you are to certain chemicals. Now Meantime Brewing is creating custom brews for customers based on their DNA. Using a saliva sample to analyze what flavor compounds you may or may not enjoy, they will make you a beer they think you enjoy. They will even have you come in to consult on the beer so they can get your input on their flavor profiles and help name the beer and design the label. Of course, this kind of customization isn't cheap -the basic package will cost almost $31,000, but at least it leaves you with a good 2,000 pints of beer.

Watch This Panda Play With His New Snowy Friend

(Video Link)

Da Mao is a panda at the Toronto Zoo. Earlier this month, he got a snowman in his enclosure. Maybe he has some rage issues, because Da Mao's immediate response was to start ripping his face off, climbing on him and kicking his head off. One thing's for sure -he had a great time with his snowy new roommate.

Ring in 2017 With the New Year's Dog

(Video Link)

Are you counting the minutes or even seconds until the clock strikes midnight? Then you won't want to miss this adorable human-armed pup celebrating the turn of th new year. He enjoys sparklers, counting down on the clock and drinking champagne, so it's a pretty traditional NYE celebration -other than the fact that he's a man-dog and all.

This Bunny Sees the Benefit In Arcade Games

(Video Link)

If you can teach a dog to drive a car or fly a plane, is it really that ambitious to teach a bunny to operate an arcade game? Bini the Bunny's owner thought to fill up an arcade game with healthy snacks and let Bini test his skills on the machine -and the bunny took to it pretty quickly. As long as he gets his treats, Bini is content.

Here it is, Your Puppy Moment of Zen

(Video Link)

Sometimes you need a little break from this world. When you need to relax and be distracted from whatever's bothering you, you might just want to bookmark this video. Watching this little pooch go to his happy place is entirely too satisfying.

Personally, I'll want to watch this the most just after giving my dog a bath -aka fighting and freezing for twenty minutes.

All the Things the Internet Did to Guy Fieri This Year

The internet loves to hate Guy Fieri. It's like his loud mouth, two-toned beard and backwards sunglasses are just begging to be mocked. In 2016, the chef was the butt of many internet jokes and we all benefited from it -like that time they envisioned him as an average American dad rather than his flamboyant American dad reality or that time he cruised along with Mad Max. We already showed him hurt himself by eating, but it's hard to get enough funny Fieri jokes and Eater rounded up the best of them from the year

Your Drone Needs A Cozy Sweater

Winter gets so freezing and miserable. Our poor dogs need sweaters to keep warm, but drones are often left out in the cold. But that doesn't have to be the case any more now that Drone Sweaters makes custom made sweaters for your little flying friend. According to the company:

Smaller, lightweight models, toy models, and models that naturally have very thin plastic coats benefit from a warm drone sweater for when they need to go outside, or for just hanging around the house. A sweater can make a significant difference in your drone’s feeling of well-being.

Unfortunately, you have to visit their San Francisco studio to get your drone fitted for its sweater and the price is almost $200. If you are interested in getting one though, the first step is visiting their website.

This Dog Ate His Family's Entire Christmas Turkey

Most pet owners have had their dog (or cat) eat something they weren't supposed to, but while gluttonous nous pets are common, few are brave or foolish enough to eat a whole turkey. But this little tiny dog did just that this Christmas and you can pretty much see the bird sitting inside of her in the pictures.

According to his owners, the little thief couldn't even move after the fact. Still, the look on her face says it was totally worth it.

Technically, she did leave her family a little something. Luckily, they were able to get relatives to bring another turkey so they didn't have to fight over this little slobber-covered scrap.

Owner David Barrett says the dog, Bubba, will be going on a much-needed diet in the New Year.

Celebrate Art History With These Classic Painting Lollipops

There's something so satisfying about a great piece of art, but sometimes you just don't want to hang a Van Gogh on your wall. Sometimes you just want to lick it. For those days, there are these Art History lollipops from Etsy seller LIQNYC.

Of course, if you prefer the pop art of comic books over the fine art of the masters, you might prefer these classic comic book designs instead. The shop carries plenty of other designs as well, including creepy eye pops, space designs and even zombies, so whatever you're into, why don't you just lick it already?

The Cutest Animal Moments of 2016

2016 was full of terrible celebrity deaths and ugly politics and most people seem to agree that it was a pretty awful year overall. But not everything was the worst -Distractify collected the best cute animal photos of the year.

While most lists compiling what happened in 2016 show us things we wanna forget about this year, this one is a great reminder of the good things in this world.

Even if 2017 is just as terrible as this past year, bookmarking this list is a good way to cheer yourself up when everything is just plain awful.

This Hollywood Bar Will Sell You a 40 Oz of Colt 45 for $15

No matter where you live in the US, you can always go to a local liqour store and get a 40 ounce of Colt 45 for $3 or $4, but in Hollywood, you can get the full forty-ounce-in-a-paper-bag experience without all that slumming in a liqour store. And it will only cost you $15. It's just the next step in rich hipster idiots pretending to slum it.

Harry Potter Actors Then and Now

It has been 15 years since the first Harry Potter film came out and those adorable little kids from the films are entirely grown adults now. Geek Girls has a collection of pictures showing the actors as they appeared during the movies and how they look now -and some of the transitions are amazing.

Even nerdy Neville is now a swoonworthy stud and snotty Drako is a sweet-looking, sensitive guy.

See all the photos over at Geek Girls.

These Teachers Are Pretty Much the Best

We all had an amazing teacher in our lives and while some are just good at making educational concepts click with their students, some connect with their kids through humor and then work to get them to learn something.

Over at Buzzfeed, you can see 23 amazing teachers that certainly made their kids smile -even if they didn't teach them a thing. If you had any funny teachers go ahead and share their stories in the comments.

So see the whole list here.

This Marble-Colored Cat Used to Be Solid Black

Scrappy has an utterly amazing coat, but he wasn't born with those unique black and white markings. In fact, this nineteen year old cat was actually black at birth. It wasn't until he was around seven that his fur started to develop white spots -and it never stopped.

Eventually, her owners discovered that he has vitiligo, the same condition Michael Jackson suffered from. Vitiligo usually gives humans patches in their skin color, but it can also change hair color, the color of tissues inside the mouth and eye color. While it's most common in humans, dogs, cats and even buffalo have been diagnosed with the condition.

Other than being a fairly old kitty and having a condition that gives him an incredible coat, Scrappy is a healthy, happy kitty and his Facebook and Instagram pictures are a testiment to his wonderful quality of life.

An In-N-Out Manager Reveals The Chain's Secrets

Did you know an In-N-Out manager can earn up to $350,000 a year? Or that each location has a secret secret menu that no one can order but the employees? These are just a few of the fascinating things you can learn from this Thrillist article revealing secrets about the chain from a manager. In case you're wondering, he suggests that the best burger you can order at the restaurant is the double-single, two burger patties, one slice of cheese, chopped chilies, chopped onions, and one tomato slice. The bun gets a spiral of mustard and a squeeze of lemon juice.

It's worth mentioning that in another Thrillist article, they make a pretty compelling argument that being a manager at In-N-Out is better than being a lawyer. They have some good points, you can make similar money, you don't need to pay for college and In-N-Out not only offers killer benefits but also sends managers and their spouses on vacations to international destinations every year.

Even if you don't want to work at In-N-Out, you can still learn the inside secrets in this Thrillist article.
