Great Pictures of Rock Stars With Their Parents

It's easy to imagine that rock stars, especially those from the 1970's were crazy heathens, but seeing them with their parents puts their lavish lifestyles in a whole new perspective.

Country Fried Bacon With Gravy On A Stick

If you're ever entered into a contest to see who can eat the most calories in a 24 hour period, at least now you have a plan for breakfast. Of course, if you aren't entered in said contest, you might want to stay away from the dish, which might be tasty, but also could be considered suicide on a plate.

The StumbleUpon for KickStarter

KickStarter is a cool site, but with so many new projects being added all the time, it can be hard to find something you're actually interested in. Fortunately, now there's KickStumbler, which combines the functionality of StumbleUpon with the fundraising site, recommending new projects based on those you've already expressed interest in. Obviously, it won't be too beneficial for everyone, but for those that get lost in the labyrinths of KickStarter, it's a welcome innovation.

As a kitty, that's a good way to get your puppy to like you, and Toby the pug is certainly not complaining here.

The Perfect Decor For A Hoth Wedding

I wish I knew more about this great AT-AT ice sculpture that was photographed by Bill Linn, but I would certainly love to have it at any future  fancy occasion. Wouldn't you?

We've featured plenty of minimalist posters on the site before, but nothing compares to Jed Stoneham's minimalist posters that are truly as basic as you can get.

A Herringbone Newsie Cap For Cats

Just look at how chic this little kitty looks in his newsboy cap. Your cat could look just as stylish if you head over to Etsy seller CATalier's shop. Alternatively, your feline could also be decked out with scarves, top hats or bowties thanks to the kitty clothier.

Need: Stackable Tetris Lamp

As if the completed puzzle wasn't cool enough, the fact that they are individual bricks that actually light up when connected to other bricks makes this lamp incredible. This means you can rearrange it every day if you want.

On the downside, it won't be available for sale until September.

Dogs On Trampolines

Given how playful they are, it's hardly surprising that dogs love the springy, fun feeling of trampolines. The Huffington Post has a good selection of adorable pups hoping around to their heart's content.

The Creepiest Home Decor In The World

This  Half-Life Barnacle by German artist Daniel Ritthanondh is incredibly detailed and realistic, but it's too damn creepy to actually use in any respectable home. Would any of you actually put this up?

Anatomically Correct Ski Masks

Artist Ben Cuevas created a series of knitted hoods detailing the inner-workings of the human face. Above is Subcutaneous Fat, but he's also made the muscular system, the skeletal system and more. If nothing else, it's an interesting way to learn about anatomy.

These two rescued critters are currently being fostered by YouTube user nrc5878. Apparently, in her home, kitties are in charge -not the pitbulls.

Doctor Who Shot Glasses

These awesome etched shot glasses are even cooler than they appear at first because they aren't just mass produced trinkets, but specially made by Etsy seller Fanboyglass.

Now That's What I Call A Textbook Sketch

Back in my day, textbook sketches were usually just vulgar, talentless nothings, but these beautiful designs by artist Paula Swisher are quite the exception.
Using leaves of paper from old engineering and science manuals as her canvass, Swisher brings what she describes as a "contrived sense of order" to pages of numbers, figures, and graphs — creating what she calls "a visual metaphor for our attempts to make sense of our experiences."

Don't miss the rest of these amazing drawings on her website.
