A Real Life Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

I'm not sure how old this little critter is or if it has meant a rat who will become its sensei in time, but even if he's not a teenager or a ninja, he's certainly a mutant already. Personally, I'd rather watch him run around than watch the new Michael Bay movie.

Well, you don't have to travel back into time just to influence Shakespeare to use your name, just go to U Star Novels, fork over $24.95 and you can get your name switched out for Juliet's, or for Tom Sawyer, or Frankenstein, or any other public domain novel you happen to enjoy.

Some Seriously Sexy Geek Shoes

Sure Leia wore boots not heels, but if you ladies want to attract your own Han, you might just need to wear pumps here and there. Of course, if you're trying to attract the kind of guys who would actually appreciate some sweet Star Wars shoes, then you probably don't need to worry about that sort of thing quite as much.

The Prettiest Sushi Ever

Who says food can't be art? This stunning nori is cut by lasers to create lovely lacy patterns that each carry a deeper meaning:
Each pattern is meant to symbolize good fortune, happiness, and longevity, etc. and the result is a delicate, unexpected reinvention of the classic Japanese food with a modern twist. The patterns are crisp, and when incorporated into the rolls, they create a sharp contrast between the dark seaweed and the white grains of rice within.

I would think these might just be too pretty to eat, but I'm a sushi fiend, so I know I'd still gobble these up.

Now That's a School to Write Home About

My elementary school was a hideous mess of mauve, yellow and teal that looked like the early nineties threw up all over the walls. Middle school and high school weren't much better although they were sure a lot more bland.

But not all schools are so disgustingly ugly though. Redditor fawcan posted this great photo showing what his school did to the walls in honor of one of the greatest classic video game franchises ever.

The Dogs of Walmart

People of Walmart is soooo 2008. These days, it's all about the dogs of the people of Walmart -now that's a new whole new level of Walmart craziness. While there isn't a whole website dedicated to this subset of insanity, Pets Lady has filtered through all the animal category of the site to find the best dog pictures ever taken at Walmart. And they are hilarious.
