Just blow some air into this adorable little critter and watch him fill up. Just imagine watching this little guy putting his head out of a car window.

If you enjoy Being Human, The Vampire Diaries or any other supernatural dramas, then you owe a debt of gratitude to Dark Shadows. That’s because it was the first show to bring supernatural elements into a drama format. Of course, if all you know about the series are the previews from the new movie, then you might be shocked to hear that it’s a drama at all. Since the new movie doesn’t seem like a great place to learn about this groundbreaking series, let’s take a look at the show and how it finally got mashed into the Tim Burton film coming out tomorrow. For those interested in catching the series, don't worry, this is a spoiler free zone. Image via mediafury [Flickr]
It Didn’t Start Out So Dark
These days, the show is famous for its supernatural storylines, but nothing of that nature was present when the show was first pitched. It all started in 1965, when Dan Curtis had a dream about a mysterious young woman on a train. He pitched the idea to ABC, where it was quickly greenlit. Art Wallace was hired to create a story from Curtis’ dream and he came up with a tale about a young orphan, Victoria Winters, trying to discover her past in the strange town of Collinsport, Maine.
When the show premiered, it did fairly poorly both due to its use of mostly unknown actors and its long, drawn out storylines. Even as the show was struggling though, it was still innovative, being one of the first soaps to incorporate flashbacks and parallel time lines. Six months into the show, things started to become more interesting when ghosts were introduced into the story. While it’s not all that rare for shows to use the supernatural these days, at the time, it was unprecedented and the show quickly increased in notoriety.

If it was labeled, it would have to read: strawberry lattice crust (left), blueberry crumb crust (right) and heaven in the middle. While it may be a little late for Pi Day, it's still a great achievement in the world of geeky pies.

I don't know about you guys, but I've always found the idea of wax seals being used to ensure privacy to be rather romantic. Unfortunately, as we are becoming increasingly technological, use of these types of antiquities is becoming more and more rare. But the new Top Secret USB combines modern functionality and vintage sensibilities by allowing you to stamp your USB drive shut with a wax seal so you know no one else has opened it.

Granted, making your child wear this sweater to school will almost certainly result in his getting bullied -if not beaten up outright. Even so, it's still a pretty impressive design when it comes to working in math equations.
The main body of the sweater is a pattern of adding numbers in block shapes. There are also little x's in black. Circling the bottom in green on a dark blue background are Fibonacci numbers. Also circling the bottom and wrists in dark blue on periwinkle is the symbol pi.
Of course, if this sweater was sold in adult sizes, it could be a big seller in the Neatoshop.

Nothing like a good jet of water to itch that scratch for you. While I've seen dogs run from or attack the water from hoses, I don't think I've ever seen one use it as a means to get pet. Have you?

Oh the many cat memes we've grown to love. If you ever need help remembering a few of them, this Nyan Cat ship shows just how amazing these otherworldly kitty jokes truly are. It's all part of the great gallery seen at the 1984 Memes show.

If The Avengers was a stage play in 1887 rather than a movie in 2012, then the Black Widow would still be just as sexy...just in a completely different way. So would Princess Leia, Cat Woman, Wonder Woman and Red Sonia. Depending on where you stand on historical lingerie, you may, or may not, prefer these antique versions (I personally do). Needless to say, some of the pictures are a touch risque although none of them feature nudity or anything too raunchy.

No, that's not a car engine starting up, that is the sound of two precious black bear cubs bearing the adorable names of Yogi and Boo-Boo. If you listen to the sound only, it gets real annoying, real quick, but then just watch it with the video again and you'll start feeling all warm and fuzzy again in no time.
